Allright heres the problem I just cant seem to figure out, and it's finally driving me nuts. I use Boot Editor to creat my own boot screens and I've had alot of luck doing various things with it, but no matter what I have this stupid black box in the upper left corner of my screen during boot <_<

Tried various other bootscreens downloaded from either here or websites and they all have the stupid black box too...all of em except for Swissboys

Anyone know what the box is all about? or better yet, how i can get rid of it?

I'm having the same issues. Is there a simple way you would suggest changing the order of the palettes? I'm a newb, so a explanation would be helpful.

Thanks for the help.

I recently read on a site talking about the same problem, and they said it referred to a leftover option for a windows brand (??)

Here's the exact text

"When nót using black as the background color, you might find a little back rectangle in upperleft corner. This is a leftover from an option to provide branded xp versions, only shown in xp beta's"
