Intel has revealed Windows 8 tablet specifics at a conference in Beijing. Featuring its Atom Z2760 "Clover Trail" chip, these tablets should boast over 9 hours of battery life, getting really close to what Apple's iPad has to offer at the moment. "Clover Trail" chip is dual-core capable with "burst mode" (for quick bursts of performance when needed) and Hyperthreading -- the latter allows a dual-core chip to behave in quad-core-like fashion in some cases.
