Today, Microsoft released the final first version of the Windows Media Center Gadgets for SideShow. This package includes 4 gadgets:

  • TV:  Browse the program guide, schedule recordings, and browse and play back recorded TV shows
  • Music:  Browse and play music
  • Pictures + Videos:  Browse pictures on your device and play slideshows and video
  • Now Playing:  Provides information on what is playing in Media Center and provides playback controls like those on your Media Center remote
Unlike other gadgets in the past, Microsoft has released both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the gadget pack. So make sure you download the right one.

I do not have a SideShow device, so I can’t provide my own opinion on these gadgets. But I’ve heard they’re pretty cool. So if you try them, please leave a comment and let us know what you think.
