after patch and installation of themes i got VIRUS IN WIN32 file annoying with avg wanting to move to vault of delete. and the thing is i cant even retore with windows 2003 xp os cd because he dosent have one. now i think its not a virus in fact i kinda know its not a virus just an unreconized file by avg thats sending it to do crazy things.

i used UX Theme multi-patcher 6.0
and following themes:
sentinel green
bioblack
octane_VS

i want to get this fixed right away because im afraid my brother will delete this necessary files to login and explore the desktop away . cause it says its a Trojan patcher virus

Yes no files on Belchfire contain any virus, trojan or spyware. I scanned Multi-Patcher, Sentinal and Octane VS and all are fine. I couldn't fined Bioblack here. Maybe you downloaded it from somewhere else?

I have seen AVG and other anti-virus scanners come up with false-positives from time to time. As you say, it is possible AVG thinks a file or code within a file looks like a virus but really isn't. I would try another virus scanner just to be sure. Another good one is avast! which is free over at http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html. Try it and see if it also fines something. If it does, identify what file it is and quarantine or heal the file (if possible).

I searched Google and found references to a Bioblack theme on rapidshare. Did you download it from there? Be wary of anything downloaded from free file sharing sites. Many contain spyware, trojans and virii, especially anything warez...

thanks after further review i backed up my files and look at the files that avg said was at risk. it ws a false reading on some and one was reall so maby it was bioblack wich i think i got off some other site(my bad)

i will start fresh again with a reload of the opertating system and a new anti virus maby "kaspersky" or "vipre" any one using that can give any imput back will be helpfull

cause during clean up of false and 1 reall virus things were destroyed.
