Alright, I only did this once before and I got a new theme by pretty much guessing but it was a long time ago. SO I was browsing your selection of themes and found one that I liked. So I downloaded it. I extracted the fonts into the fonts folder, then I extracted the theme into the theme folder, when you open it it has the shell ect.. however when I go to properties... it isn't there.

When you open it up you go into a shell, there is a black48 and normal color folder in there...

That is the theme I am trying for.

Thank you for any help.

Did you download Multi-patcher? It's linked in that file's description, or can grab it here. If it's been a while you probably haven't patched your uxtheme.dll file to allow Windows to load un-signed themes and visual styles. Just grab Multi-patcher, run it, reboot, and then apply the theme.

Oh, themes with only a .msstyles file won't show up in Display Preferences. You have to drill-down into the C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder and find the *.msstyles file for that theme and double-click it. That will load it up in Display Preferences where you can then Apply it.
