I reinstalled my Windows and wanted to use my old theme again ... But this time I'm just too dumb: I tried several uxtheme.dll patchers and did exactly what they told me: I removed the backups, cancelled windows file protection and restarted. Some of them didn't even work, most of them do, but my will only wallpaper be shown till the next instance of explorer.exe is launched(a restart e.g.).
Now what am I doing wrong? I can see my wallpaper when I shut my explorer.exe down and it's gone again when I launch it again ...

My Windows XP has SP2 and is freshly installed, I recently installed all Windows Updates that were availlable. Note that it's german and a patched uxtheme.dll worked fine before reinstalling.
