Alright, I patched my uxtheme.dll using multi-patcher, and I try to install a theme from this site.
It says to put it in "C:WindowsResoucesThemes" I can't find this folder..
So I try to put the theme on the desktop, and I load it up.. Nothing happens. I got the old Windows2000 Skin o.o
What am I doing wrong?

Also, when I go into my C:/ I can't see WINDOWS anywhere. Its not a hidden folder because I clicked "show all hidden folders" and its still not there.

Help please :/

Umm... Windows 2000? You can't use themes made for XP on Windows 2000, is it does not have the XP theming engine. Try WindowBlinds instead. But you can only load WindowBlinds themes when using WindowBlinds.

I forgot to add, I have XP, the skin is called XP classic (it reminded me of 2000..) but yeah, every theme looks the same..

Ah, in that case, sounds like you forgot to patch your uxtheme.dll file. Go grab Multipatcher and run that. Then you should have no trouble.

If you don't see the Windows\Resources\Themes folder, you're likely not logged in as a user with sufficient priviledges. You must be logged in as an Administrator.
