shout.gif Heelp hey I just started to know about desktops themes I have Windows XP home edition and I want to know in what place should I put the download is it in My documents? cuz I dont know elsewhere. I seen such awesomes themes but I really have no idea where to save it I also read in a topic saying u should get Style XP whats that? and where I should download that? wink.gif Thanks 4 reading.

Sorry things are slow around here just now. I haven't been online much as just finishing a job. Back May 18.

It's all the Help if you haven't figured it out already :)

hmm u dont quite answered my question I want to know where do i save style XP cuz I dont have idea where to and when I tried to download where should I save the theme in My documents? oh yeah I have Mozilla it says if I want to open it. I dont get it.

Oh, well should have been in the Help. I'll have to check. But basically you unzip the file into c:\windows\resources\themes. Then open Windows Explorer and go into that folder and find the .theme or .msstyles file in the subfolder for that theme and double-click it. That will load it up in Display Preferences with a preview. If the preview looks OK, click the Apply button.

Note that this is the manual method and assumes you have already patched your uxtheme.dll file. Or you are using StyleXP.

Dude guess what I found the problem in my PC well it's retarded it goes on windows\resources no themes after that I checked there it a themes folder so I figured that extracting those there would work, so I went on Properties I saw Decadent theme and applyieds it but it came like a windows classic look the only stuff that works are the cursor, and icons and Wallpaper thats it is it for Windoes XP or Vista?
