help.gif help.gif Hi My name is Diego i like to change my themes on my computer a lot but now i'm getting rid of mine cuase i'm gonna get a new so and i want to sell i have deleted most of my file but the only thing i can't get rid of are some of the icon that came with a theme called VISTA CUSTOMIZATION PACK V.3 and i can't tet rid of it is there any way i cna delete it and get all my icons backs(windows xp icons) the folders icon, my pictures icon, my computer, py documents, and some of the buttons of the internet bar like the back, forward, home, history,etc....

So i hope any of you guys can help on this 'cuiase i dont know what to do mega_shok.gif

Sounds like a 'brico pack' or similar that installed a custom shell32.dll with it's own icons. Look for a backup copy of shell32.dll in your WINDOWS folder. There might be one in system32 or in service packs. Should be able to copy it from there and overwrite the customized one.

But before doing that, try uninstalling that customization pack using it's own uninstall utility, from Add Remove Programs in Control Panel, or check any accompanying readme file or the website/forums where you downloaded it. If it does come with an uninstall utility, it should automatically restore your original shell32.dll file.

PS: If you cant uninstall, or have uninstalled and it didnt go back, install/re-install Service Pack 2 from Microsoft, that reinstalls all the DLLs in your System32 folder.
