Hi was wondering if anyone out there can help?

I am having problems with installing such things like themes/logons and boot screens for my PC ( it's an XPPro/ SP2 system ). Downloading is OK but when it actually comes to the installation I am getting the following message:

C:\path\ application cannot be run in Win 32 mode.

Is there a workaround this or am I just being daft?

Also when it comes to downloading software such as Boot XP or Logon UI Randomizer, Free Download Manager doesn't seem to like it very much
since the download is fairly quickly stopped.

Any suggestions on what to do?
