hey i have a question,
i turned on my computer and now i dont see the image i used to have but i see a blue background and a black box in the middle. I tried changing the image but it won't let me. i think it might be locked. how can i get rid of this image?

Err... Post a screenshot maybe. Have you tried just changing desktop wallpapers? Could be you set a web page as your desktop inadvertantly and the URL was invalid. To check that, load up Display Properties --> Desktop --> Customize Desktop --> Web. See if there's anything there and delete or de-select and apply. Could also be a video card/driver issue, leaving some artifact on the screen...
